On May 18, 2026, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Chemical Corporation (Vinachem) officially launched the "Vinachem Agriculture" platform. The Center for E-commerce and Digital Technology Development (eComDX) – under the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy, Ministry of Industry and Trade – plays a key role as a partner, providing comprehensive technical advice and digital transformation solutions to realize this program.
The event was held within the framework of the VinachemMart e-commerce platform's one-year review conference. The launch of the "Vinachem Agriculture" platform marks a step for Vinachem in its journey to support Vietnamese agriculture towards transparency and sustainable development.
Attending the conference were leaders from central ministries, departments, and agencies; representatives of state management agencies; leading experts in the field of agriculture; a system of enterprises, agents, and exemplary production households nationwide, along with news agencies and the press.
A practical digital solutions approach.
The unique aspect of "Vinachem Agriculture" lies in its approach to building an open information platform where knowledge, practical experience, and farming solutions are shared to support farmers in accessing more scientific and sustainable agricultural production.
In the context of farmers facing a multitude of online information streams ranging from farming techniques and input selection to seasonal trends, the need for an official and practical information channel is essential. "Vinachem Agriculture" is designed as a multi-faceted information platform, connecting experts, scientists, specialized agencies, and businesses to provide knowledge to the farming community.
The platform focuses on practical content such as technical farming advice, guidance on efficient fertilizer use, cost-saving solutions for production, green farming models, crop care experiences, and trends in sustainable agricultural development.
The entire content is presented through various formats such as real-life videos, field reports, infographics, analytical features, and Q&A sessions with experts to help farmers easily access and apply the information in their production.
eComDX provides technical support and platform development.
As a technical support unit, eComDX advised on the development of the deployment model and proposed suitable digital transformation solutions to ensure consistency and practical implementation.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Huu Tuan, Director of the eComDX Center, said that the application of digital technology in the program's implementation is practical and suitable to the production conditions and needs of farmers. The solutions offered are also easy to access, convenient to use, and supportive of farmers' production and business activities.
Regarding technical solutions, eComDX representatives stated that the Center has collaborated with the Group to deploy digital platforms to support the program, such as the Electronic Information Portal and Electronic News Website. This integrated platform provides online information and services and serves as an interactive channel between businesses, management agencies, and the public. The system is used to publicize program information, provide technical guidance, share market information, and support connections among stakeholders in the agricultural value chain.
In addition, eComDX has also advised and supported the Group in developing website systems for units within the Vinachem ecosystem to introduce products, services, production capacity, and support market connections. The websites are designed to be user-friendly, integrating product catalogs, technical information, and industry news. This system also contributes to providing people with information on pests and diseases, seasons, and farming techniques suitable to their production conditions.
Leveraging a network of experts and diverse resources.
At the conference, Vinachem announced the team of experts accompanying the "Vinachem Agriculture" platform, comprising many scientists and experts in agriculture, crops, and soil nutrition from the Vietnam Academy of Agriculture and the Group's fertilizer units. In addition, Vinachem is building a collaborative model between businesses, research institutions, socio-political organizations, and the media.
Within the framework of the program, Vinachem signed a cooperation agreement with the Agriculture and Environment Newspaper to strengthen communication coordination, develop content, and disseminate sustainable agricultural solutions to the community. Simultaneously, the program collaborated on content development with 12 member units operating in the fertilizer and agricultural chemical sector, including: Binh Dien, Supe Lam Thao, Southern Fertilizer, Van Dien Phosphate Fertilizer, Ninh Binh Phosphate Fertilizer, Can Tho Fertilizer and Chemicals, Ha Bac Urea, Ninh Binh Urea, DAP Vinachem, DAP No. 2 Vinachem, Vietnam Pesticides, and Vietnam Apatite. These units signed agreements to contribute practical data, production experience, and specialized knowledge to serve farmers.
Mr. Nguyen Huu Tu, General Director of Vietnam Chemical Corporation, said that the Corporation has assigned functional departments to act as focal points, coordinating with relevant units to continue improving and operating the platform in a practical, simple, and suitable manner for farmers. The Corporation focuses on leveraging internal resources and mobilizing a team of scientists and experts from key fertilizer companies to provide farmers with knowledge and technical solutions appropriate to their farming practices. This is a connection towards sustainable agriculture.
The platform launch event became a forum connecting businesses, experts, managers, and producers. Besides professional content, the program incorporated introductory videos, factual reports, and networking activities to spread the spirit of innovation and digital transformation.
