Hung Vuong Fair 2026: Experience the digital shopping space through a series of interactive livestreams

Within the framework of the Hung Vuong Fair 2026, taking place from April 22nd to 28th, 2026 at Hung Vuong Square (Viet Tri City), the series of livestream programs promoting Phu Tho province's signature products became a key highlight. The event not only showcased the culinary excellence and local products to tens of thousands of visitors but also affirmed the strong transformation of businesses in Phu Tho province in improving quality and adapting to modern consumer trends.

This is a series of livestreams implemented by the eComDX Center for E-commerce and Digital Technology Development (Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy - Ministry of Industry and Trade) in close cooperation with the Center for Industrial Promotion and Trade Development (Department of Industry and Trade of Phu Tho province), aiming to support local businesses and cooperatives in accessing modern distribution methods, thereby realizing the goal of bringing regional specialties to a wider audience on digital platforms.

Bringing Phu Tho's specialties to livestream

In the combined live exhibition space and livestream sessions, consumers have the opportunity to access a diverse "map of specialties" from the ancestral land. Highlights include DBFOOD's nutritious nut-based food products, Honeco's exquisite 4-star OCOP honey, and premium Cordyceps sinensis from Tam Dao Mushroom Cooperative. These products not only retain their original flavors and rich health benefits but also score points thanks to significant improvements in packaging and design, making them competitive in major markets.

In less than an hour on air, the program recorded over 700 successful orders.

In addition, products such as Truong Food's fermented pork, dragon fruit noodles (Loc Thuy Quynh Farm), Green Saver herbal tea, and Lita Foods' jelly pouches also made a strong impression. The production process is increasingly standardized, clearly demonstrating a professional production mindset: using traditional values as a foundation and employing modern technology to elevate them, directly targeting young consumers.

However, the highlight that made the event truly spectacular and vibrant was  the series of four consecutive livestream sessions over two peak days (April 22nd and 23rd) . eComDX Center set up a professional "open studio" right at the fair, in collaboration with reputable businesses and KOLs.

The effectiveness was proven right from the first livestream: in less than an hour on air, the program recorded over 700 successful orders.  This impressive number not only shows the appeal of Phu Tho's specialties but also demonstrates the explosive growth of digital distribution channels when organized professionally and with the synergy between government prestige and the reach of KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders).

Realizing the vision of "E-commerce without boundaries"

Sharing his thoughts on this strategy, Mr. Nguyen Huu Tuan, Director of the Center for E-commerce and Digital Technology Development (eComDX), affirmed: “Bringing agricultural products onto digital platforms is an inevitable trend. Our biggest goal in coordinating this series of livestreams is to realize the vision of a borderless e-commerce. We want digital technology to be not just a sales tool, but a solution to erase geographical boundaries between the raw material areas of Phu Tho and consumers nationwide. When an OCOP product from Phu Tho is sold directly on a livestream, the distance between the producer and the market is zero, and the gap between trust and quality is established instantly. We are committed to always supporting each local specialty across the country, not just Phu Tho province, so that they can 'go further' through the shortest path in the digital space.”

According to Mr. Tuan, the implementation of this livestreaming series helps businesses and cooperatives expand their distribution channels, break down barriers to brand building, and bring the true value of the ancestral land's specialties directly to the hearts and trust of customers in the most natural way.

Enhancing market capabilities for small businesses.

Leaders of the eComDX Center and leaders of the Center for Industrial Promotion and Trade Development witnessed the signing ceremony of a memorandum of cooperation on promoting the consumption of OCOP products on e-commerce platforms.

In practice, the implementation has shown that although many local specialties possess superior quality, they still face numerous obstacles in brand positioning and accessing modern distribution channels. Through the program, the selection of typical OCOP products for promotion on digital platforms, along with the participation of content creators, has helped spread the message of "e-commerce without boundaries" naturally and effectively. The power of technology has erased geographical limitations, bringing the true value of the ancestral land's specialties directly to consumers and strengthening their trust nationwide.

Throughout the event, both in-person visitors and online consumers received expert product advice and enjoyed attractive discounts ranging from 15% to 50%. This is considered a practical way to stimulate domestic consumption, helping people access genuine, high-quality products at optimal costs.

Also within the framework of the Fair's activities, leaders of the eComDX Center and leaders of the Center for Industrial Promotion and Trade Development witnessed the signing ceremony of a memorandum of cooperation on promoting the consumption of OCOP products on e-commerce platforms at the Conference on Connecting Supply and Demand for Typical Products of Phu Tho Province. This event demonstrates the efforts of state management agencies in accompanying and supporting businesses to proactively adapt to the digital era. The harmonious combination of hands-on experience at the festival and transactions on online platforms not only solves the problem of immediate consumption but also establishes a sustainable development model for Vietnamese goods.

The success of the livestream series and trade promotion activities at the Hung Vuong Fair 2026 has affirmed the correct steps in managing and orienting the development of e-commerce and the digital economy. These efforts not only enhance the economic and cultural status of the locality but also make a significant contribution to integrating the finest regional products into the strong development of the national digital economy.
