According to initial statistics, the livestream session was extremely lively, attracting nearly 50,000 interactions and 1,200 viewers. Notably, over 200 orders were placed within the first hour alone. This impressive number brought joy to the people of Cao Bang, further motivating businesses to confidently expand their market and connect local specialty products to reach all regions.

As part of the 2026 E-commerce Application Fair, the livestream promoting typical products of Cao Bang province on digital platforms, organized by the Cao Bang Provincial Department of Industry and Trade in coordination with the E-commerce Department, is an opportunity to introduce distinctive products to a wide range of consumers, while supporting local production and business establishments to expand their customer reach and gradually enhance brand value in the digital business environment.

Cao Bang is not only known for its majestic natural landscapes and unique cultural values of its ethnic communities, but also for its many agricultural products, food items, and specialties that bear the distinct mark of the region.

From traditional dishes prepared using unique methods, herbal teas, specialty teas, local agricultural products, and thoughtfully presented gift items, each product contributes to telling the story of the land and people of Cao Bang.

One of the standout product groups at the livestream was processed food products reflecting the culinary traditions of the mountainous region, such as dried buffalo meat, smoked meat from Cao Bang, and Cao Bang sausage. According to the KOL (Key Opinion Leader), these products evoke traditional food processing and preservation methods, making them suitable for showcasing as signature dishes of the highlands and as gifts for family and friends.

In addition, traditional Thanh Quyen rice cakes, thorn cakes, sticky rice cakes, glutinous rice, and soy sauce are also included in the product list. Tea products are also a notable highlight in the category participating in the livestream. Here, consumers can explore many options such as green tea, black tea, Oolong tea, indigo tea bags (Xom Deng), Polygonum multiflorum extract tea, Cao Bang stevia tea, Tai Ho Sin green tea, and other herbal teas.

Besides food and tea, the livestream also showcased many agricultural products and processed foods with the potential to reach different customer segments. Highlights included Bao Lac fragrant sticky rice, vermicelli, and various types of dried noodles and corn noodles. Other highlights included cereals, black sesame powder, Lanh Dung nut cakes, La Dung honey, and more. The products were processed in various ways, contributing to a wider selection in the packaged food and gift categories.

The inclusion of product categories ranging from processed meats, traditional pastries, tea, agricultural products to gift sets demonstrates the diversity of the product offerings in the livestream.

Leaders of the Cao Bang Provincial Department of Industry and Trade, KOLs, and representatives from the E-commerce Department (Ministry of Industry and Trade) took a commemorative photo at the livestream session.

According to Mr. Le Van Dinh, the products from local farmers in the livestream session were carefully selected by the Department of Industry and Trade, all meeting OCOP three-star, four-star, and five-star standards, or having received certification as typical rural industrial products. Therefore, consumers can rest assured when experiencing the shopping.

Through livestreaming, businesses and production and trading establishments in Cao Bang have more opportunities to introduce their products, interact with viewers, and reach customers online. This is also a practical way to promote e-commerce, support the promotion of local brands, and expand the market for OCOP products and local specialties to reach all regions.
