According to Ms. Tran Thi Thu Hang, Deputy Director of the Industry and Trade Publishing House, in order to support the implementation of the Law, the Industry and Trade Publishing House is introducing the book "Understanding the Law on E-commerce" as a practical support tool, helping to clarify legal regulations into specific and scientific implementation guidelines for organizations and individuals participating in the digital market.

Dr. Le Hoang Oanh - Director of the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy (Ministry of Industry and Trade) - editor of the book “Understanding the Law on E-commerce”

The book, edited by Dr. Le Hoang Oanh - Director of the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy (Ministry of Industry and Trade) - along with a team of experienced experts, focuses on analyzing key issues and top concerns in the current e-commerce sector. The content covers the management of emerging e-commerce models such as livestreaming sales, e-commerce on social networks, and cross-border e-commerce; the responsibility for providing information and coordination mechanisms for management; e-commerce databases; strengthening the prevention and control of commercial fraud, counterfeit goods, smuggled goods, and intellectual property infringement; and protecting consumers and legitimate businesses, contributing to building a transparent, healthy, and sustainable e-commerce market, in line with the national digital economy development strategy.

The panel discussion was themed "Understanding Correctly - Doing Well".

According to Dr. Le Hoang Oanh, editor-in-chief of the book  "Understanding E-commerce Law ," the book's highlight is that it doesn't just clarify the regulations of the law, but also aims to provide legal management consulting, helping businesses turn compliance into leverage to increase reputation and revenue, and move towards sustainable e-commerce development.

Therefore, this book not only demonstrates a spirit of partnership with businesses and e-commerce platforms but also truly serves as a "guidebook" contributing to the healthy development of e-commerce and promoting the digital economy in Vietnam.

One of the highlights of the event was the panel discussion themed  "Understanding Correctly - Doing Well" . With the participation of the drafting committee, representatives from the Ministry of Industry and Trade Publishing House, legal experts, representatives from the TikTok technology platform, and leading businesses, the discussion sparked lively debates on transforming compliance pressure into a competitive advantage and applying the law to practical business models. Besides answering readers' questions, the panel discussion also raised new issues contributing to the improvement of legal regulations guiding the implementation of the E-commerce Law, as well as promoting the book through various channels to reach a wider audience.

Representatives from e-commerce platforms and the business community highly appreciate the timely launch of the book by the relevant agencies of the Ministry of Industry and Trade amidst the rapid development of e-commerce, thereby contributing to strengthening the confidence of market participants and consumers.

The book "Understanding E-commerce Law" stands out not only for its legal analysis but also for its explanation of the policy context and legal objectives, opening up expectations for a new phase of development for Vietnam's digital market: more transparent, more professional, and more sustainable. The book has now been widely distributed nationwide and promises to be an indispensable companion for entrepreneurs in the digital age.

On December 10, 2025, the Law on E-commerce was officially passed by the National Assembly, marking an important step and a new milestone in unifying the legal framework for e-commerce in Vietnam.
